Strengthening parent-infant relationships

Meet Alicia Eysenck

My name is Alicia Eysenck, and I’ve been a Clinical Psychologist for children and adolescents with neuro-developmental disabilities and their families for 40 years.

I’ve been privileged and honoured to work for the families which have come into my care. I am in awe of their amazing resilience and ‘love of life’!

The service I offer

A focus on understanding your child’s needs, and adapting your parenting style to be most supportive to the child.

I offer an observation of the child in his or her special areas of need - at home, at the nursery or in school.  I like to meet all the family together first and we can do this at your general practice or in your home.

Who is this for

Any parent who has concerns about their child /young person (from birth to adolescence and early adulthood).

Any parent who wants to offer their child opportunities to develop in these important areas, at the earliest possible age.

01

Observation

It is important to observe the child/young person in the places in which they feel most comfortable.

02

we agree together how we will best help and support your child/young person to be their best 'self'.

03

Standardised screening

I use standardised assessments which measure your child's particular skills and match them against all the children in the UK of the same age.  These questionnaires are always completed by the parents as you are the constant observers of your own child.
